CONGRATULATIONS to LUKE HERBERT who was crowned 2017 Supercup Champion yesterday after another great weekend of mx5 racing at Donington Park. It has been a great series to watch this year with plenty of action, already looking towards next season when they run alongside the TCR uk championship.

Thanks to all the drivers,teams, co-ordinators, media and especially to the marshals at these events…without these people Motorsport events wouldn’t be possible.

Also to Will Blackwell-Chambers the Mk5 Championship winner.

Brilliant really close racing yesterday as usual. The MX5 championship works so well with the cars being so evenly matched leading to lots of side by side overtaking moves on the corners. Obviously popular with the drivers given the size of the fields in both the A and B races. Long may it continue.
