MXmas run and meal, 12th Dec 2010.

Meet at Toghill at 10 am for a 10:15 start, meet up time has changed as we have to be sat down for a 1:00 pm serving.Drooling This will hopefully give us time to get the non-alcoholic drinks in.

Hopefully the roads will be clear and sunshine all the way.

is this open to all?..or have you had to pre book?

Sorry for the untimely delay in answering but unfortunately this meal was pre-booked, but if you care to ring the pub on 01488-68279 or e-mail them www.pelicaninn.co.uk saying your with the car club, they might be able to accommodate you.

If you can only do the run then you are most welcome to meet us at either Toghill at 10.00 or even Hackpen Hill at 11’ish, where we plan to stop for coffee.Waving

Christmas Tree Hope your all looking forward to the MXmas run and dinner, we plan to sit down to dinner at 1.00pm and as we are their only afternoon booking due to numbers (38) attending, the pub is ours until 5.00pm.

 Hi Howie Waving

Thanks for organising the Christmas run and lunch yesterday. Sunshine and blue skies, excellent roads if a tad mucky - no excuse not to clean the car now, Food was excellent and company great, as always. Thoroughly enjoyable day all round. Clapping hands in the air

Merry Christmas to you and Hils. See you next year.

Karen and Jerry

We are really sorry to have missed going, due to having flu.

Glad it went well for you and the weather was perfect, Cool did you have your tops down?

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year, Party see you in January,

Best Wishes,

Lynne and Neil

Convertible Female Convertible Sorry that you are suffering with the dreaded flu, I bet Neils is worse than yours!

A few people had their tops down, but unfortunately I didn’t because it was frozen on, oh for a garage. A good run with only Jerry going straight on instead of left (and he was tail end Charlie), but we all got there except for two who took a short cut, in convoy and on time.
All the best and keep on waving.

A belated thanks from us Howie!

We had an excellent time, as suggested above we thoroughly enjoyed the run (how did you manage to arrange such good weather amongst all the c**p we are currently experiencing) and the atmosphere and company in the pub was great.

Trying to get the car clean the next day was less fun but she is nicely polished up now and ‘put to bed’ in the garage until the New Year.

Have a great Xmas and look forward to seeing everybody in the New Year.

Thank you all for your kind emails etc. about the run and meal, I am very relieved that the run wasn’t planned for this coming weekend judging by the weather forecast, it would have made going up Hackpen Hill fun.Sledding
