I have been meaning to take some nice pics of my MK2 after it had been cleaned and polished. It was a nice sunny day today, so I took the opportunity whilst the sun shines. So here is my 5 in Classic Red:

Lovely, Classic Red looks gorgeous polished. 

Are your front tyres on the right way round? just that the tread pattern won’t clear the water properly that way round, have a look on the sidewalls to see if it has a ‘Rotation’ arrow or ‘Outside’ mark. The rears look ok.

I am not sure if the tyres are round th correct way. By the looks of them in the pics, probably not. Thanks for pointing that out, as I hadn’t noticed. I must sort that tomorrow :slight_smile:

 Very nice, I have to say that I am warming to the Mk2 the more I see it!

I was thinking that about the front tyres too lol. Are they Toyo PX4’s? I like the look of them.

I must say Red is the best colour when polished well…

What make of alloys are they? I am looking to change mine, and yours look great.

Yeah, they were on the wrong way round - but I fixed that the day after :slight_smile:

That’s right, they are Toyo Proxes 4. I only paid £292 + £25 to upgrade to Falcon tyres and they came with the Toyo’s on - I was well chuffed :))

The wheels are AEZ ZYLO’s in 15". The car handles like its on rails now. Now that I have a K&N Typhoon as well, it drives like a real sports car. Every time I take the cover off before I drive it, I involuntarily mutter “yeah baby!”. It’s sad, but I can’t help it :’(( :wink:
