my ongoing project!

so i have had the car for a year now bought it for £700 in november 2007. It runs really well but the paint does let it down a bit, but a respray is planned sometime this year.

I have added a few bits too it a long the way custom dials and bezel surround, some chrome bits inside and some bride seats so comfy!!

Also got a set of mazdaspeed wheels to refurb these will replace the wats i currently have on it, there is a garage vary lip to add yet as well.

anyway here goes!

Love those BRIDE seats, not seen any like that before.  I like the ‘deep dish’ look of the Mazdaspeed wheels too.

yeah BRIDE seats were a lucky find! got them off a guy on nutz i know of 2 other sets but i believe they are quite rare! and they are the comfiest seats i have ever sat in!

nice , project I want your steering wheel

Your heater controlls are ace! Where can I get some ? (dont tell me, ebay)

you lucky person… those seats are TRE SEX!

i got the heater control dilas from jimparts.co.uk. Rik you can have my steering wheel if i can have your low pros!!![:P]

Looking real good mate. But I wouldn’t swop the wheels. Are they genuine Watanabe?

ps, you need one of these to finish off the dash

they are genuine 14" wats and i will be keeping them as my winter set and having the mazdaspeed ones refurbed.

I do want one of the retro switches but am saving for a respray was hoping for one at xmas! maybe next year!

Hi, sorry to hijack your thread. Is the wheel above the same as your Mazda speeds? Mine are badged as Rays engineering and I’ve been trying to find a bit more about them. Where they standard  JDM fit or after market? Cheap or expensive? Light or heavy… you get the idea. Any thoughts much appreciated.

they look exactly the same as mine! Rays engineering made them for mazdaspeed as far as im aware they were not standards issue they are quite common in japan but not seen very often over here, If you take one off and clean the inside rim up you will find a sticker giving you all the info you want size, wheight, ET. They are quite light.

question for you, have you got anything inside thebig nut?? or is it empty as mine is empty and im sure it shouldent be!

Hi Gareth, They do look the same don’t they. Iv’e only ever had me big nut of once, as far as I remember the only other part was the plastic ring which covers the retaining bolts and thats a real pita to get off. I will whip one off and have a look and let you know.
