National Rally 2013 The Runs

National Rally 2013, The Runs

The Eastern Team have put together the following runs to give you a taste of the East! Through forests, across heaths and the flat lands of the fens and along the coast there’s plenty to see and do.

All the runs start from Sandringham, zero your trip at the main gates to the house. The Saturday Meet and Greet Point is just down the road so pop in and say hi, before starting the run. The Sandringham Welcome Centre toilets are also close to the Meet and Greet Point!

The runs are not led, so you are free to do them on your own or with friends at any time. There are loads of places to stop and visit along the routes.

Usual Club run rules apply; obey the highway code and the rules of the road at all times. Please be courteous to other road users etc. especially in some of the smaller villages where the MX-5 traffic levels could be quite high on the Saturday!

Route A - Fenland Fun Run, 97.8Miles
This run, mainly on quiet country roads, has been compiled to highlight a number of interesting locations in West Norfolk (and just into Suffolk & Cambridgeshire).

Route B - North Norfolk Coast Drive, 99.4 Miles
This drive take us out along the spectacular North Norfolk coast with the return back through a truly rural landscape of big skies, large fields, and small towns and villages.

Route C - From the Queens House to Coast and Castle, 62 Miles
This route differs from the other two in the set in that it is a true test of both driver and navigator’s observation skills. No mileage is given for the route and therefore it is all down to closely following the route instructions.

All the routes can be downloaded here.
(Click on the National Rally 2013 Sandringham link on the right of the download page)

Please bring your own copies of the routes. (A very limited number will be available at the Meet and Greet Point for anyone who forgets to bring a copy)

Tomtom itinerary files can also be downloaded from here.

Use these at your own risk. Whilst every effort has been made to endure these follow the same route as the printed versions the vagaries of satellite navigation technology etc. mean that’s not guaranteed. Thanks To Julian for producing the files for us.
