Wheel size is a bit of a giveaway, if we’re talking about OEM sizes.

You said “Not correct for here as we get a different diff in the 6 speed” What is the differential ratio in the UK 6 speed compared to the US version?

UK Spec
diff ratio on the 5 speed NC is 4.100:1
diff ratio on the 6 Speed NC is 3.727:1

1st - 3.136:1

2nd - 1.888:1

3rd - 1.330:1

4th - 1.000:1

5th - 0.814:1

1st - 3.815:1

2nd - 2.260:1

5th - 1.000:1

6th - 0.832

Makes interesting reading well done, The difference between the 2 cars is quite noticeable in use, First gear is much higher in the sport s/top and due to the RHT doing 200rpm lower at 60mph it does not pull as strong as the s/top, out of the 2 cars I get the impression the RHT sportech is more of a touring car and the sport s/top has the edge on performance, very tempting to swap both power trains over!! but then the extra weight penalty of the rht would negate some of the benefits i expect. I would never have believed there would be so much difference between the cars on the road.
