My other car has the ‘tap turn’ facility and I miss it when I’m in the MX5. I may be completely wrong, but looking at the links provided it seems there are two ways to achieve this; either third party replacement flasher units or ‘wire-in’ modules. It’s also commented that this may be a standard feature on other current Mazdas. I wonder if the feature is simply built in to the flasher relay itself on the other models which have the feature. So, substituting a flasher relay from one of these may achieve the effect?? Being a ‘standard’ part, may be less expensive?
