agree - they are pricey but you are pretty limited for options. I paid just shy of £2k for the cams/mapping and fitting which is about the going rate, but for the ITBS its pretty extortionate! 
I’ve seen so many people online making their own kits using Bikes throttle bodies for the NA’s but literally not a sniff of that with the NC - but like you said… maybe one day
