So I got the roll bar, and after replacing the hoops with it I tried to refit the original interior but it didn’t look very good and hid the cuteness of the rollbar, so I made my own interior, and I’ve upgraded the rear speakers, and also got a proper parcel shelf / storage area in my 5 now. I’m very happy.

What did your insurance company say? Was it a big rise?
Insured with Adrian flux, and specified I have a roll bar and a custom interior.
Sorry, not meant as a “have you told your insurer”, but as what did it cost extra?
I’m with you,but I don’t really know. My last got written off this was new one was with old insurer and policy only had a few days to the end of my insurance year, and didn’t use whilst fitting for the few days then moved to Adrian flux with it declared so nothing to compare it with.
I paid less for it with all mods including this declared than I did for it bog-standard with admiral.
