Found this spray on Ebay to try on my sticking seat belts. What a difference! I still have the standard guides fitted but thought I’d give this a try first. I think a second treatment will have them working as they should be. Result! 
I purchased a can of this to help with the belts in my NC before the last MOT. It does work a treat indeed. It does wear off over time but you just have to re-apply it.

Does this stuff leave any residue at all? What is it made up of? Silicon lube or something.
Doesn’t seem to leave any residue other than a few overspray spots on surrounding trim. But that just wipes off. I assume it’s silicone based but can’t find anything to confirm that.
