Has anyone found a way of going from— ‘ignition off’-to-‘accessory on’-to-‘ignition off’ WITHOUT going through the ‘ignition on’ phase. Seems silly not to be able to especially if you just want to pop the soft top without driving it away. All those lights and servos going off for a few seconds and then being shut down does not seem right. Same thing if you just want to listen to the radio or play with the satnav.
I think I know the answer but here’s hoping I don’t.

Why do you need to switch to ‘ACC’ to open the soft top? I should say I have not been out to the garage to experiment.
Hi J, to shut the windows, but thinking about it you have to go to ‘ignition on’ to do that!!!
It gets worse. The radio issue is still valid though.
So are we saying if you leave it in ‘accessory on’ it will shut down after 25 minutes of no activity? I wonder if this time is adjustable? I will have a look. I will also see if locking the car is possible with ‘accessory on’ and if it then goes to ‘ignition off’ automatically.
Those old fashioned ignition key jobbies were quite good, weren’t they?!!
