ND Wheel Spacers

IF 15mm spacers were fitted would the hub bolts need to be trimmed ?

No the excess length of the original studs fit inside the wheel castings inside, am currently running 15mm front & back with no problems (2017 RF)

Thanks Paul

I think ND1 is fine, however ND2 is not and needs to be cut (not something i would do)

Hi Gareth, is that as the wheels as shown in your avatar ? ND1 standard wheels the spoked sort, have opposing recesses inside to let any excess stud sit inside, although I did disc the tops off the studs (the lead ins) it wasn’t necessary, do the shown wheels have a flatter inside face ?.

In case it helps heres a pic of the inside of one of my wheels, oem on my 2019 nd, the recesss are 15mm

Mine is an ND1 Recaro, like I say, I could be wrong but having spoken to a number of owners I’m under the impression no ND1s (Recaro or standard wheels) have issues. They made lug nut changes etc on ND2 and I’ve seen an owner cut the studs to fit spacers, but looking at Dennis R’s picture I don’t know why.

Hi, those wheels same as mine, ND1 - RF, the studs if they were exposed would fit into the recesses, haven’t looked at the BBS or as in the avatar, but mine are ok with 15mm spacers both front & back, rgds, Paul H.

Just realised we’re talking ND here and I was thinking it was NC. Doh!
