For anyone negotiating their way around Nottingham on the A52 to get to The Gap Inn tomorrow morning then there may be road works between Ratcliffe on Trent and Saxondale Island (A46).
An alternative route around this would be to turn right on to Stragglethorpe Road, off the A52, at the traffic lights, before you get to the RSPCA compound (signed Cotgrave / Cropwell Bishop). Proceed through Stragglethorpe onto the A46 and head towards Newark. Exit at the next junction (Saxondale) and pick up the A52 again heading past Bingham.
I hope this helps speed up the initial part of your journey tomorrow.
