My new A class came with perfect tyre pressures, but there is a pressure monitoring system now so they can’t really hide not checking them.

  

I think you’ll find that the TPMS will only tell you when a tyre’s pressure has altered from that at which it had been SET.  It will not tell you that the pressure in the tyres was TOO HIGH when the system was set in the first place.

 

Some systems show the PSI per wheel.

Hi again and checked my tyre pressures today as only drove the car home from dealer yesterday and they were just a little over: 2.2 bar (31 psi) instead of 2 bar/29.

May post the question separately but I could not find the TPMS switch anyway to reset now pressure had been adjusted! Read manual went online searched through here,went through the car settings screen!

Think it must do it itself!?

Ive had my car for about 8 weeks and I thought they felt a little hard

I took the car to my local Tyre Garage who checked them… 34psi all round!!

Rectified and back to what it should be… 29psi. Feels a better ride instantly!!
