Woot, after umming and ahhing for ages, I finally decided I wanted to change from my second 2004 mx5 euphonic to another car.
I then ran into huge difficulties making my mind up on what to buy.
Road tested a Saab 9-3 Aero 2.0T, a Honda Civic Type R, and a few others, like a nice VW Golf, but decided I really liked the mx5, just was bored/fed up with a few bits and bobs with the model I had. I realised that maybe going 2004 mx5>2007 mini cooper>2004 mx5 was not the best thing to do, as the current mx5 was older than the mini, did not have as many shiny buttons etc, and well was not as good as my previous mx5 (the first one was a 1.8 the other a 1.6)
I was driving past the mazda dealership in Colchester today and thought, aww, why not look at the mk3 again… drove into the carpark, immediately saw the dealer principal in the carpark, who knew me, who suggested I have a look at a stock car they had, mentioning the Friends & Family discount he could offer me.
All in all, I had a great Sunday afternoon filling in paperwork, and tomorrow I pick up a shiny new Copper Red 2008 mx5 2.0i sport 
I am thrilled to bits, pleased to have saved close to £5K off the ticket price
Cannot wait till the morning now.
