New horns for old

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: _fitting new horns
    old horns only have one connection and all new horns have 2 electrical connections
    best way to do this please.???

One will simply go to earth. Normally marked -

As I understand it, the second connection is to link the two horns together via a length of wire, so the second horn only uses one of the two available connections.
The horns are earthed through the mounting bolt.
The two spade connectors on each horn are both positive and are linked together.
This can be tested by checking for continuity between the two connectors.

This is maybe not quite as straight forward as it may seem then. Some do indeed have 2 + terminals, some have one & some have a +ve and -ve.

Just checked a pair of new Stebel horns I have and they definitely have continuity between the two terminals
