New member introducing his pride and joy!!!!

Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself and my 1994 UK mark 1 MX-5, totally standard, only thing i’ve added is chrome vent rings. Bought the car from Stafford Mazda last September and it is a real beauty if i do say so myself:)I hope you like the pictures!

Only things that really tempt me as far as modifications go are some nice leather seats, and some luscious new 15" rims:)

Looks as sweet as. Very clean[Y]

Car looks great Benjamin [Y] Enjoy!!!

Seats like these i assume? (not mine BTW just happened to notice them earlier)

Very nice indeed

Thanks for the positive comments everyone, nice to be amongst other Mark 1 fans!

Nice looking car. Good to see a red one without faded paint!

There is a red one local to me that is almost matt pink, I just want to go round with Autoglym Paint Restorer and sort it out, so horrible looking!

Thanks for your kind comments. Yes i’m quite lucky i think to have such nice paintwork on the car. It’s got the original factory stickers on the inside of the driver side door so it’s the original paint as i bought the car believe it or not from a main dealer(Stafford Mazda)in September. I even have a full years Mazda warranty and break down cover until next September, which is quite nice for a car approaching 15 years old:)

I viewed a few red MX-5’s before i found mine and went to see one that looked nice initially but after having it professionally inspected the dealer revealed there had been a re-spray and on further inspection the paint job was terrible!

I do use Autoglym polish on the paintwork about once monthly as this is by far the best wax available i have found. This gives the paintwork a beautiful deep gloss finish. Yum!

When I bought my green car the paint was as flat as a witche’s t*t!

I used Autoglym paint restorer and now use Autoglym deep gloss polish. Paint now looks good, although mine has had a top-half respray at some time in its life.

Yep that’s the one i use, Autoglym deep gloss, it really is the best wax ever i reckon, it gives the paint work on my 5 a lovely deep gloss and a real nice shine. I also find it removes any imperfections and restores any small sections that may have dulled or have fine scratches. It really is the best wax out there!
