Hi all,
I’ve just joined the club after buying an NB1. A few weeks back I read somewhere on line that the MX5 was a reincarnation of the Lotus Elan and thought it was some kind of joke. After having a hunt around and reading road tests/reviews and some YouTube stuff there was only one thing for it - buy one and see!
This is my second day of ownership and the car is incredible, it looks fantastic and is brilliant to drive, I am overwhelmed and can’t stop smiling.
I’m looking forward to getting involved with the forum and hopefully meeting up with other owners.

Well done, a good choice. Lots of good advice on here when you need it. Keep an eye out for rust, but I expect you know that already. I too had an NB and had a lot of fun in it, I’m sure you’ll enjoy yours.

I think i spend as much time cleaning and looking at my car with a big stupid grin on my face as i do driving it! Thats the effect they have on you.
