Hello and Welcome to the MX-5 Owners Club forum we’re delighted that you’re here and share the passion for all things MX-5 that bought us all here for the first time at some point.
Good start!
I am the new owner of a 2004 MX-5 Euphonic edition. As I slide towards retirement, I wanted a newer car that reminded me of the MGB’s and TR7’s of my youth. The MX-5 more than fits the bill, after only a week of driving, I love it!
I am the new owner of a 2004 MX-5 Euphonic Edition. I wanted a fun car for my impending retirement that reminded me of the MGB’s and TR7’s of my youth. The MX-5 is perfect! The club allocated me North West Midlands, but living in Shropshire on the Cheshire /Staffordshire border, ( and an exiled Welshman) this area seemed much more like home. Looking forward to coming to a meet soon!
You’ll be welcome in any area, but you can also edit your primary area yourself if you prefer. Also add as many other areas as you like, to get news and updates etc.

Got Bullit because she reminded me of my Triumph Spitfire Mk IV [was too short to see out the back of a TR7 !]
I’m also allocated North West Mids [here in Newcatle-under-Lyme] but was born at RAF Cosford which on my birth cert says ‘Salop’ but the area is now classed as Staffs [why?]. Went to boarding school near Sandbach, Cheshire and fav uncle also exiled Welshman living in Exeter !
Good to hear from you! Lots of things in common too. I’m looking forward to getting out to some of the meets. There was the slightest sight of watery sun this afternoon and we were out with the top down heading for Ellesmere
