Well I had an interesting day today.
Found out my Sunlight Silver MX5 2007 (84,000 miles) was leaking oil into the engine and smoke was coming out of the back.
Sold it and bought a 2013 Red one (34,000 miles).

Be interesting to see if you can notice a big difference in the NC 3.5 vs the NC1. There was a few tweaks. Biggest one is the forged internals but don’t think the car is anymore powerful out of the box.

Where did you buy the new ?
I’ve been looking for ages 
I bought the new one from a garage, who were advertising it on Autotrader.
The garage purchased mine and it will be going straight to the auctions.
The car didn’t blow up, the garage said keep on top of the oil and it will be good for a couple of years or so. But I want a long term project and the intention was/is to keep for a long time.
To be honest, I didn’t realise it was a 3.5 model. But the interior looks nice and a little more refined.

You’ll still need to keep a close check on oil level.

Not really worth keeping something if you don’t have faith in it 
I just ask asking as I have a NC1, in case I saw some smoke on day.

That is what I have been trying to clarify yup seems to be a 3.75. Exhaust is still going on on Friday just on a different car lol.
