My name’s Dom and I’m a 23-year-old writer from Essex. I’ve been saving up for an MX-5 for a while now and am finally viewing one this weekend - a 1999 V-reg mkII MX-5.
Just wondering if there are any key problems to watch out for, or other important things I should know?

Hi guys thanks for the warm welcome! I had a good luck around the garage area of the forum.
I just carried out a vehicle check on the car and all looks fine - but I don’t have the VIN number yet obviously. It’s done 70,000 miles and has had four owners - is that OK for an MX-5 built in 1999?
Also I could only find a key buying guide for the mk1 roadster - is there a mk2 one somewhere on the forum?
