Hi, acquired a Soul Red launch edition as a replacement for my Caterham 7, needed a bit more comfort for touring. Really enjoying the car, went to Jap Fest last year not long after we purchased it and have been out touring Mid and West Wales. It’s going for some performance mods shortly and I hope to be joining South West Midlands meets soon.

Welcome from another X Caterham (Superlight R) owner. It is perhaps not surprising that many 7 owners graduate to 5s as they, lets say, mature, the lure of some creature comforts is hard to resist. The days of sitting in a pool of water and enjoying it are long gone for us.
I do sometimes miss the 0-100 in 10 seconds and the devastating overtaking ability that it gave, but on balance we are very content with a more sedate carry on!!
