Recently bought my darling wife a 10th annerversary mx5. It all started when she saw a MGF and said ooh i like that, well having been in the motor trade (as a mechanic and also have my own work shop) I picked up the first thing that came to hand and hit her with it, telling her there was no way on this earth I’m having one of those one my drive there to unreliable and are made of old metro parts. So i showed her a proper 2 seater sports car to which she replied OOOOH i like that. So i went and got one for her (she’s a lucky girl my wife is).

Make sure you remember to let your wife drive it occasionally. I’ve just bought my wife one and I have a lot of trouble finding the passenger door when we go out in it!!!

Hi john she only lets me drive when theres something wrong with it or if we go out together cos she doesn’t like driving with me in the car and then she keeps a close eye on the rev counter apparently 3000rpm is plenty[:(] this low rev limit was brought on after i showed her how well it goes 6000-7000rpm needless to say she wasn’t impressed[:D]
