Is 3-4k a reasonable budget? I can’t really justify more at this point.

If you search the forum you should find threads on what to watch out for when buying an NC in your budget.
I broke the rules when I bought my 2013 hardtop, as it was a Cat C in 2015.
Realistically, your budget should get you an older NC, maybe 2007, with average mileage. It might need lowering if it isn’t a Sport model.

The reason I mentioned my car is because I bought it last year for just a bit over your top budget, hence saying I broke the buying rules.
