Just picked up my MX5 Harvard yippee my first question of many quite possibly is does anyone know of a good hood supplier and fitter around the nottingham area ???

Not sure about Nottingham exactly.
Jimparts and mazparts are both in the Midlands. Look them up online.
Both these people are once of the owners club and enthusiasts as well as hood fitters.
I also know of a guy in solihul but im not sure if he does hoods.

Welcome to the site - there are plenty of knowledgeable people who can answer any questions you have that cannot be found by a quick search.
Regarding your first question, all I can do is second what Jonathan has said - I don’t think I’ve heard a bad thing about either company.
You might get a place closer, or even cheaper, but when something should last as long as a roof, the extra money is usually worth it.
But, a more local person may know a superb guy just down the road from you…
