My driving excuses are that the car struggles a bit on the uphill sections and I lose a fair bit of time letting the quicker traffic past. There were also yellows on every lap I did.
It was a green hell tourist weekend so it was incredibly busy!
A sub-10 lap is on the cards next time

its not about time but about having fun, be sensible and confident and keeping it in one piece. there’s no trophies or winning anything by being silly a thousand miles away from home.
I agree. As you can see from my video, I’m driving well within the limits of the car and I’m letting the quicker traffic pass on the left as they should.
I guess it’s more about getting a “clean lap” without too much traffic or without having to slow for the yellow flag. I’m sure I was already comfortably driving at sub-10 pace (not as quick as @bainbridge though ) if it hadn’t been for the yellows I encountered every lap!
My timeline has just reminded me it is 10 years to the day since this happened.
