One was never enough

A new member, I bought my 1st MX5 in October, an NB Jasper Conran Black. Loved it so much that when I needed a new car for daily use (hoping to preserve the JC for the future) I decided an NC PRHT was the way to go. Trying to keep the JC as close to stock as possible (need to find some wheels) and so far the only mod on the NC is to fit a smart top module.

…that’s just plain greedy …

Interesting to hear a comparison on NB v NC? …we had an NB for 17+ years and loved it…skipped the NC and got an ND.

Totally different animals, both fun to drive, the NB is more fidgety but the NC feels more of a tourer if that makes sense.

What a lovely pair

An ND for 17 years?

Good choice. NC is the best all rounder of all MX5s.

…duly corrected…I wondered who would spot that first…Mr. Mannering

Hello and welcome… The NC’s were quite new and a few NB’s were still popular when I worked at a Mazda dealership 2006-2012… Very different in how they drive and the NC is the better “all rounder” Though it took me till 2020 to get my 1st MX-5, a 2018 ND2 2Litre, which is the best
