Ok Eunos roof not in the best of order (edge has a few splits etc) - its a vinyl roof, as the car is in the garage and lucky work parking in covered, not in a hurry to replace.
But my question is how good are these vinyl roof reviver paints / care products, besides bringing back the colour do they really extend the life of the hood ?

Not really, give it a good scrub with autoglym bumper care. It will clean it and condition it. That will prolong it’s life
