Photos from the Rally at Compton Verney

To be fair it was the coolest queue of cars I’ve ever been in though!

Agreed. I felt more sorry for the locals trying to go about their Sunday mornings!

It was a very polite, good-natured queue!

What is the cover over the front for on the NB for? I’m very curious and sure there’s a very good reason for this.

It’s an NBFL  Group from Scotland had tartan over their noses

Ahh thank you for that, I knew they’d be an explanation for it. ‘Every days a school day’ as they say.

PS: I collect the badges & stickers, if anyone please has a spare national rally sticker going please send me a PM.

Regards,
Neil.

Love the photos, sports fans! Thanks. We only managed to video each other :expressionless: whilst panning around to show the absolute masses of little buggers!! and no one needs to see us. The ‘traffic control’ officer at the crossroads entrance to the Gate 1 was also pretty cool; at around 13.00 he said he thought all the MXs in the WORLD were in the cross-queue. Any drone footage folks? After taking my wee Kendo outta wraps to make the trudge from KA30 to Wolverhampton (closest we could get the day before the meet) we enjoyed seeing lotsa folk on the M6 motorway overpasses applauding the 20,000++ bikers coming up from London to Barrow in honor of Dave’s Day. Brilliant and astonishing turnout for the Hairy Biker! Have to say non-stop 6 hours in my Kendo was a real treat. Honest. The farther north you go on m’way to The North, the wider the vistas become and (sssshhhh) we did go a bit faster than in the south. Got to keep up with the mighty Range Rovers, Audis and Bimmers flying by. Happy Trails to y’all.
