Pictures for the web Gallery????

Our new web site provides you with the opportunity to display your pride and joy (that’s your car) and the occasional mug shot so we know who you are.  So far only a couple of members have used this facility.  Go to the web site here and select the GALLERY.  You can upload your picture from your PC or from a hosting site such as Photobucket.
Come on North Thames.  Lets see some more pictures out there.

Not really got any nice shots of the my car yet; will try and get some taken and posted in the new year. Are there any restrictions on size when adding to the gallery?

Well, you do have one Brian.  I’ve just approved it as it wasn’t rude [:^)]
Upload limit is 2mb per photo.  They will then be sized for display by the Gallery upload program.

Thought I’d try my luck with that one after posting here! Still intend on trying to get some nice pictures in the new year though.

I haven’t seen them for approval yet Ady. I just found out today the there is an upload limit of 2mb per file. Were they large photos?

I’m pretty sure they were under 2mb individually.
A couple that I put on there when I first joined worked, but when I added others they just seem to sit there saying “awaiting moderation” or something.

I’ll see if I can find out the size and maybe re-upload them. [:)]

 Hi Jonathan, I got the request to approve the three submissions and the caption was there but no photos.
Did you upload the photos or link to them?
 
(Sorry for the delayed reply.  My Dad passed away on Monday so I’ve been away for a few days).

Cant remember what I did, I think i linked to photobucket locations but as I hit the button i get a blank screen. Ill try again later.

However, none of that is important.
No apology is required.
Im truly sorry to hear of your loss Eric. You and the family have my sympathies. I hope his passing was as painless for him as possible.
