The windows on my 93 Eunos are quite slow, having done some research, I decided to start with the switch (auto up/down on drivers side). I found this thread http://www.miata.net/garage/powerwin/index.html but the switch I have is different, I cant seem to seperate the switch to view the contacts. Has anyone had this problem, could it be a sealed unit?
I had very slow, noisy windows and went through the routines of lubricating the channels with lithium grease, cleaning the contacts, spraying the rubber channels with silicone spray etc. with a small improvement each time. What made a huge difference was spraying the rubber channels with Holts vinyl and rubber lubricant spray. I have not seen it in Halfords, but I’m sure you will find it via Google.

My windows are slow too, the passenger one takes a while to realise I have pushed the button. So if I look a tthe contacts under the switches behind the ash tray should I clean them or check connection. I have months ago had both door cards off and wd40 the reels etc.
Hi Trace, I see we have the same model, I think I have just secured some original gold BBS alloys which will put it back to its original spec. Anyway, follow the instructions in the link I put in my first post, if you find you have a different switch and cant get to the contacts let me know and I will talk you through the process.
