I went out this morning to use my car and found the hood and windows had developed a white ‘growth’. Has anyone else experienced this, it made getting the hood down difficult.
Since this picture local youths have very kindly cleared the problem from my car, using the substance as a weapon (I myself have been a victim [:@]).

Unless you take the car home and put it straight to bed I think you may find it developes the same problem again by morning!!
Well that’s possibly the worst case of roof-lining mildew I’ve ever seen. It’s even spread to the driveway and surrounding houses.
You mean to say that you leave your car outside without a cover?
