Quick question re post MOT drive

A bit like DuratecNC, I can be accused of being a tight Yorkshireman.

Because of experience gained over the years I do not generally allow a dealership to MoT my car. There have been occasions when I have been given a failure, with a nice cost for repair, when I knew nothing was wrong with the car. I have been on the racing scene long enough to know when things are not right.

For that reason I go to the local council MoT centre, primarily because they do not do repairs, or have any affiliation with a local dealer. So if I have missed something (or not…?) and get a fail, I can be almost certain it is a genuine failure, and not a money making exercise by one of the more unscrupulous members of society.

So sad to be so mistrustful…
