Race of Champions...

Hi guys, just wondering who is going to the race of Champions? Would one of you lucky people please think about taking some photos and writing a summary of the event for the newsletter, so those of us not able to go along, get a little taster of what we have missed?! Go on, you know you want to?

If you are not one of the chosen few, perhaps you are going to the Xmas lights event and fancy taking some photos or writing up your experiences there? Alternatively feel free to write up an account of another ER event?

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Jude  what with  everything else  Fred and I are  going, or I should say, still going.

Just thought I would get the rail tickets that I left in the envelope on our “board for important things” - Gone!!!

Panic - tried ringing Nat Express to see what we  could do - only option was to repurchase tickets at  £47 each way for each of us!!!  Remind me why don’t we use  public transport?

Anyway panic over, tickets found in my “drawer for important  things” so all on again.

If you really want I will fill  the whole newsletter    with  my  taped  conversation with two overseas people at  National Express!

A most entertaining day out, and that was just the journey there…  some of us need to get out more… [;)]

Hi-light of the day, Lewis Hamilton in his F1 car doing do-nuts, fab…  [:D]

Yes I agree. That and the races were very entertaining, but why was the track surface made so slippery so that they could not run some of the races.  Why did they have the dancers and the stunt motorbike on three times doing the same things each time.  They could have had cars from different formulas racing.  There were too many gaps and gave the impression that it was not very well organised.  The commentators were trying there hardest to get the crowd interested without much success.

Do - nuts then[Y]

Had a fab time and have convinced Claire to come next year!

As for getting out more…jink eans and a gas mask…on a man! [:|]

Only on the Tube!

In Norfolk they keep the railway above ground.[;)]
