Really stupid question - removing the centre console trim...

How does one go about doing this? I tried to remove the centre console trim earlier (the bit with the stereo surround in) to change the stereo for another one, and the bloody thing snapped into a million pieces (so I now need to source a new one and figure out the correct procedure for removal and refitting).

I can see the two screws on the side of the centre console, near the gearstick. Removed those, but then what?

NA?  pull the top two airvents in the console (bend a cable tie, poke into inner gap, expand, pull back, and loop to form a handle) and there’s a screw behind each one.  They need a firm tug to get the buggers out…
