Rear brake W clips. One or two per side?

Are there supposed to be one or two W clips per side on the rear brakes? I have seen some sets of fittings with 2 W clips and some with 4 W clips.

My car has one on each side!

If I need 2 more, where’s best to get just 2? I can get a whole set of 4 with Brembo pads for £27 or just 2 clips for £9. Autolink has them for £0.90 each but after you add VAT and postage, £6.60!

The set with pads looks like the best option, as I will need pads one day!

If I don’t need 2 per caliper then all is good with the world.

One per side is fine. Fit it to the top of the pads.
