Finally getting round to changing my rear discs. as they are completely rusted and pitted due the previous owner keeping the car sorn for 6 months outside.
But the pads have loads of wear on them left, so should I change them as well as the discs???

Best practice to change the pads too as the new discs and new pads will bed in together. Old pads may be worn such that with new discs they will not fully contact the surface.
Yes, you shouldn’t put old pads on new discs as the pads will have worn to the shape the old discs.
