I have a set of bilstiens no leaks but need rubbing down and re painting to make them look smart FREE TO COLLECT
Is it just a case of taking the wheel off and wiping the visible parts of the damper or do I need ramp access from underneath ?
Rear wheels off gives loads of access space to clean them. I put the wheel under the rear sill whilst on the jack when my head is close to the wheel arches for cleaning them.
Just passed my MOT today and no misting advisories

MOT passed with no advisories. I fessed up about the misting damper and he had a good look around and said there wasn’t anything untoward so that’s several quid saved.
