Hi Guys, I decided to put down the soft-top on saturday for my first drive topless since I brought the car.But today when i drove to work i noticed the heated rear window wasn’t working and the light hadn’t lit up. Have i done something wrong when i put down the softop? I didn’t get a manual so im not sure if it needs a new fuse.
Can anyone help me please. as i need the rear window to heat up in this weather.lol
Did you put the top down when it was icy? or wet?
If you did it may have damaged the cable in the cold weather and broken it inside.
You should only really put the roof down in dry conditions.
Could be the fuse of course, should be simple to check.
it was saturday when i put it down.but it was in the garage in the dry and resonably warm as i was fitting the k&n filtercharger.as i dont have the manual which fuse is the rear window??ive got a mark2 roadster.

If it’s like mine, there’s a twin fuseholder at the base of the electric aerial. One’s for the aerial and the other’s for the rear window demister.
Mine didn’t work when I got it and it was the relay. It is located in the boot. Just unclip the carpet where the boot latch is and sat in sort of where the number plate bolts on is a small white and black relay.
