You don’t say which Nextbases you’ve got, but even at the lowish price of £49.95, the several reviews on Youtube of that Yi dash cam in your link show footage of distinctly average quality, and not particularly enthused owners/reviewers.
I’ve owned 2 Nextbases. First , a 112. It did the job fine. It’s basic, 720p, but well defined. Liked the magnetic camera mounting.
I later replaced it with the 312 model. ( I convinced myself that I wanted GPS ). Worked well. No complaints at all.
I viewed the 312 as a good compromise before you get into the law of diminishing returns by spending more and more. I did, at the time, consider the next one up in the Nextbase range, the 4… series, but went for the 312 on the basis of the price.
I purchased both the 112 and 312 from an eBay seller, Velocity Electronics,as supposedly refurbs. In fact, both units arrived complete in original boxes and packing materials. They looked, and worked , as brand new. Velocity Electronics appeared to me to be part of Nextbase,
and used eBay to sell returns from customers who had changed their minds.
Anyway, I had two units from them, all worked fine, and no problems.

My current dash cam is a Koonlung K1S. It has a front and rear camera. It was a very expensive unit originally, but I paid £20 because the seller thought it was faulty, and the cover of the rear camera was broken. It wasn’t faulty, and the broken cover doesn’t affect the functionality.
