Hi looking some exhaust recommendations for the 2016 mx5 1.5.
Ive heard that the 4-2-1 design is better for mid range tourqe and the sky active engine too
Best places people have found them for shipping costs ect
Best bump in power/power delivery
How much power / torque is expected with a larger diameter manifold
I would have to remap, obviously. So therefore would the bbr gti super 160 remap be efficient enough.
Should I get one with or without a cat… Anything else I should know?
Thanks in advance guys

The standard manifold is 4-2-1 IIRC. Roddisons do a 4-1 I believe.

Yes Rodders does a 4-1 we run them on our mk4 race cars, hence my previous comment.

Is 4-1 better for track or road? i was thinking the 4-2-1 is better for the skyactive engine, seeing as they probably put alot of R&D into it.
@rodders l’ll leave this one to you!
@rodders @MX-5BRU I had been looking through your thread when you first got your 2 mk4s for racing… just dont know which manifold setup is best?? Haha
