I need to change the transmission filter and oil in my gearbox.
I’ve got the transmission filter ready but can anyone confirm how many litres of transmission fluid I’ll need?
Secondly, when I’m under the car, I can’t see an obvious top up point? I’m guessing it’s on the side of the box somewhere but I can’t see it?
You normally fill the auto transmission through the dipstick hole. Filling it with the exact same amount that was drained out, roughly between 2-3 litres on the NA and NC autos.
What car is it? NC doesn’t have an auto transmission dipstick.
Apologies, my car is a 1993 Eunos import.
My 1996 NA 1.8 Eunos Roadster had a red ATF dipstick on top of the automatic transmission, do the early 1.6 Eunos Roadsters have no dipstick, if so there must be a fill bolt instead?
