Just had a look in my handbook, and didn’t see a mention of opening windows using the locking/unlocking buttons. And no, nothing happens if I try it as suggested, other than the car locking and unlocking…
And using the spare key, I needed to put a new battery in, the old one was down to 0.86V from its original 3V, so I guess my main key has had a new battery at some time.
BUT - they dont list Mazda ontheir site???
The remote fob on my previous MK3.5 worked intermittently for a couple of years. If I fitted a new battery it would be fine for a few weeks and then start to work intermittently again.
I ended up sending the key fob to these people for service / repair, they returned the key fob after 3 days and it worked fine with no issues until I sold the car a year later.
