Intend to renew my mixed bag of tyres on my MX5 MK2.
What tyres should I go for?
I see no one has replied and I suspect it is because there are many historical threads regarding this so a ‘search’ should reveal many answers.
The other thing is you do not mention the tyre size you need.

Very much dependent upon your wheels.
But if you can get Michellin Pilot Sport 4, then they’re the best you can buy.
If you have 205/45/16 like me you’re stuck with Pilot Sport 3’s or Continental Premium Contact 6 as the top options in terms of performance.
My ps3s gave 20k miles on the rear, slightly less on the front.
All of these are road summer tyres and not track tyres, so will give good wear and wet braking too.
