A couple of small areas of my interior trim (the vinyl-covered bits which form the sides of the centre console) are showing a couple of scuffs - nothing major, but the scuffing is visible on the black finish and it’s annoying me!
Can anyone recommend a good product for restoring the black finish on interior trim? I’ve heard good things about Autoglym’s spray-on black dye, but my reservation with that is that if I use it on one small area, that area might then look ‘blacker’ than the rest of the trim around it, and pretty soon I’d end up having to do the entire bloody interior to make it all match! Would I get away with using a product like that on a small isolated area?
Don’t really know but please let us all know if you succeed as there will be a few people will be interested how you get on.
I used some Halfords own brand vinyl spray paint to convert my tan dash to black.
Worked really well, took a few coats, but cant say how it would work to do just patches of the dash.
