This is the same day that the West London area are going to a Breakfast Club at Goodwood.

Maybe an idea to think about meeting them there? Would involve starting a little earlier…
?
Thanks for pointing out the “clash” with the Goodwood Breakfast Club - this wasn’t one of their events that we thought would be of particular interest to members, we’ve earmarked the “softtop sunday” for a visit later in the year.
I know Richard has already mapped out a route for Sunday. However if he and the majority of other members would like to head to Goodwood instead, then obviously we can change Sunday’s plan, although it is getting a bit close.
Would anyone else prefer to go to Goodwood?

Apologies for the double post - the first one came back with an error, so I assumed it didn’t send!
Please note that the meeting place for this drive will be Rownham’s Services West Bound from 10:00am, departing 10:30am.
Sorry i am in essex for the weekend i will not be there.
Have a good time.
Hi - thought I could make it but looks unlikely now. Look forwardto hearing where the mystery drive ended up!
Cheers
Nicola
[:(] Sorry guys cxan’t make it this time, finish late start early on Sunday. Hope you all have a good drive.
Anyone interested in going to Beaulieu on Sunday 5th April for the MX5 photoshoot discount on entry if you arrive before 11am please let me know and we can meet up.
Hello all those we met by coincidence at the services… we nearly joined your run by mistake.
Hope you all had a great time and the pictures wern’t totally spoilt by the three “imposters”
Hope to see you all again at Beauliea as discussed and maybe even the treasure hunt/bbq on the 12th July. see here for details
Hi great to meet up with you all at the services today, it was a real “double take” when we came out to see that we were surrounded…[:O]
As Harco has mentioned, don’t forget to come along to Beaulieu in April…looking forward to seeing you all then…[;)]
From another one of the “Imposters”…[;)]
Great run today, even with only one seat and no carpets!
Richard, many thanks for leading the drive on Sunday - great route and I’m amazed at how you made the weather much better than had been forecast!
The scenery was beautiful with some great driving roads, especially zig zag hill [:)] … and I ate far too much at that carvery! I’ll add the photos from the day to an album on this website when I can find a few spare moments.
For those of you who couldn’t make it on Sunday the mystery drive took us to Shaftesbury in Dorset, which is the home of Gold Hill, made famous by the Hovis advert. I’ve also just read that the town featured in Thomas Hardy’s novels (as “Shaston”) - I’ve read several of those, so I wish I’d realised before going there rather than after!!
To the three “imposters” - thanks for your posts and good to meet you. I’m glad you appeared before we all drove off, otherwise we’d have been wondering who the mystery cars belonged to!! As you can see from my new post, the area’s April weekend drive will be replaced by a drive/visit to Beaulieu for the photo shoot, so looking forward to seeing you and many other club members there. Let’s hope the sun shines on us [:)]
