I’m fairly new to both the club and the area and have yet to make it to one of the meets - unfortunately I work most weekends [:(] . However, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to a place that can sort out my car’s rust. My 98 monza is starting to get a bit rusty around the sills and also needs an automatic window fixed so I’m looking for a decent MX5-friendly garage around the Colchester area - any advice?
In Colchester too. Since owning my 5 i have used Ireton Rd garage, but more recently a mate of a mate owns the fiesta centre and he was very good.
Ady who posts in Eastern Region forum is in Halstead and he has had body work for rust done on his 5, get in touch with him…

Thanks for all of this - I’ll contact Ady to see if he can give any more recommendatiosn then start collecting quotes - theres alot of other little things that could be sorted at the same time, so will let your knwo what happens - hopefully soon my mx5 will be in good enough condition to post a picture without shame!
