Seat Question re mk2 to mk2.5 swap

Afternoon all, quick question for someone a tad more experienced…

Am I correct in thinking that mk2.5 seats bolt in as is with no need to alter anything, like seatbelts etc. into a mk2 (our car being a 2000 1.8iS)

I ask as I’m about to buy some lovely condition mk2.5 leather seats to replace my also frankly pristine condition mk2 cloth seats - as I fancy leather but my originals are just too good to recover.

Wisdom gratefully received Wink

 Should bolt straight in…BUT…you will sit about 30mmm higher

Many thanks for that, have an electronic beer Beer and 30mm higher fine for me as I’m under 6ft Thumbs up

 The Mk1 to the 2.5 all fit each other,(same tub)and as said ,you sit alttle higher with the later seats{#emotions_dlg.wink}.

Personally i find the 2.5 the best to sit in,but i also like the headrest speakers in the Eunos seats, already working on that one{#emotions_dlg.wink}

What a great idea  Idea mk2.5 seats with headrest speakers Thumbs up for now I’m just happy to have sourced some lovely black leather 2.5 seats in fabulous condition for very reasonable money, sometimes I find the headrest on the passenger seat of my mk 2 seats sometimes rattles over poor roads if there’s no-one sat in it…
