I have recently purchased a 1998 Mk1 1.8
The car is wearing the NSF inner tyre edge very badly
I have had the tracking checked and all ok, any pointers as to what to check next ?

I would remove the front wheels and have a good look at the bushes and balljoints firstt to see is something is obviously worn. You should bear in mind that tracking is less than half of the full picture regarding chassis alignment on the mazda - A proper 4 wheel alignment is probably one of the best things you can do to an MX5.
