If you haven’t done so already don’t do it.

I bought a 2005 Mercedes SLK 350 SLK AMG.

I sold my MX5 MK2 for it.

It was the worst decision I made, horrible car heavy steering the hardest ride and back breaker I have ever had.

the positive was the power 0 to 60 in 5.4. Awsome performance.

but after 1 year could not take make it any more and sold it.

Came back to the best car I have ever had  my MX5 MK3.

A real drivers car.

 

Stay with the Mazda it miles superior, ONLY MY OPINION

Low mileage, not many visible dents, and with bonus roll cage - thanks to Top Gear…

After a lovely drive out this afternoon I suddenly realised how much fun it is and how much I’d miss it if it wasn’t in my life. Nothing compares, I’ll stick.

I recommend changing the door cards. Losing that cupholder sticking in the knee is a big improvement

The cupholder doesn’t dig into my knee and it’s useful for storing sun specs and a duster. I fit the car reasonably well but an inch more headroom would be welcome, as would more boot space. Of course there’s plenty of headroom with the hood down.
